Welcome to our Neighborhood, a 21st Century Cyberspace Community
of individuals who have come together to serve the Common Good.

Our Mission is to promote computer literacy and computer ownership
in the African American community in order to bridge the “digital divide.”
Through our program, “PCs to the People,” MKN distributes free used
computers to deserving students.  We also provide free computer training
for seniors through workshops at community libraries.

Our Message is universal - Love, Unity and Support.  The alliance we form
is one that promotes Education, Family Values, Self-Reliance, Self-Respect
and Self-Validation.  Understanding that it is only within such an environment
that our children can aspire to a Freedom that is truly Free.

MKN  CORE  VALUES

We will always strive to promote self-respect, self-reliance and self-determination within the African American community.

The alliances we form with corporations and other community organizations will be based on the mutual understanding and acceptance of common goals to improve the lot of African Americans and, therefore, society as a whole.

We will always endeavor to go beyond the mere discovery and articulation of problems within the African American community, to seek out viable solutions to those problems.

We will be honest and trustworthy in establishing the methods, tactics and procedures with which to accomplish our goals.

We will continue to pay homage to our forebears, never forgetting the debt we owe to the African warrior, his King and his Queen.

We will not fight fire with fire. We will fight fire with water - to build rather than destroy; to listen as intently and purposefully as we speak.

We will strive to find an accord with our foes because we are a spiritual people who understand the strength of compromise. But lest those adversaries mistake our peaceful commitment, let them understand that integrity and  determination are not the parentage of weakness.

We will promote computer literacy in the African American community, and increase the percentage of African American access to the Internet in order to strengthen our people's ascension into the 21st Century.
