Default earphones?

which earphones are you using for your iPad? Did you purchase some JUST for the iPad? or are you using those you had around the house already?

I use Etymotic earphones, the in-ear type. I've used that brand/model for years. I like them because they block out outside noise (like when Tricia asked me to drink her latest juicer concoction)

However, I just brought my kid a pair of Sennheiser over the ear phones and he loves 'em.

For the iPad I prefer something small and portable. But why are you asking? Ready to bite the bullet?

I've been wanting to get a nice pair of headphones...and have struggled with deciding on 'in-ear' or not. I like the convenience of in-ear but for some reason they don't tend to stay in my ear that well.

just curious to know what style you wore...to get another opinion

In-ear is an acquired taste. The real in-ear will not fall out because they are place in the ear canal. The earbuds fall out because they are placed ON the ear canal rather than inside. Whenever I'm listening to stuff and don't want to be distracted, I use the in-ear Etymotic. They allow you to hear the nuances of bass and treble.
